Shipping policy

IndiaNidhi ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://www.indianidhi.ca/)("Website"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations for our service.

  • General

Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time to time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund(please refer to our refund policy ). Please note we have storage spaces in Mumbai, India, and Vancouver, Canada and the products might ship to any of these locations which will be mentioned under each product.

  • Shipping Costs

Shipping costs if applicable, are calculated during checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

  • Cancellation of order Due or Change Of Mind

Indianidhi will happily accept cancellation due to a change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within the same day or before dispatching whichever is earlier.

  •  Transit Time Domestically

In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days depending on the courier provider. There may be unexpected delays, due to Covid-19 or unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control.

  • Transit time Internationally

Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier company There may be unexpected delays due to Covid-19 or unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control.

  •  Change Of Delivery Address

Orders placed before 10 AM - PT will be dispatched the same day, otherwise, within the next 2 business days.

Our warehouse operates Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays or unforeseen situations like the pandemic at which time the warehouse will be closed.

In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

Please note:

Shipments going to the USA or other international destinations may be delayed by Customs. The Customs office which is in the country of delivery, can delay shipping estimates and are outside of our control. Please be aware of potential border delays when choosing a fast (and expensive) shipping method.

  • Incorrect or Change Of Delivery Address

For a change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

 Customers are requested to check their address thoroughly before submitting to IndiaNidhi.

Any items returned due to an incorrect address will be subject to a refund for the value of the product minus the shipping and return cost. Any Item damaged or lost due to an incorrect address will not be IndiaNidhis's liability and we will not be able to refund either the product value or the shipping

  • P.O. Box Shipping

IndiaNidhi will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer courier services to these locations.

  •  Items Out Of Stock

If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.

  • Delivery Time Exceeded

If the delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

  • Tracking notification

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider

  • Parcel damaged in-transit

If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service - info@indianidhi.com. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service immediately. Please refer to the refund policy for further steps in this regards.

  • Duties & Taxes

Sales tax if and when IndiaNidhi gets eligible will be charged separately as displayed on the Invoice.
  • Import Duties & Taxes

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and IndiaNidhi encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us. If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to IndiaNidhi at the customer's expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of the goods paid,minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded. Incase of loss or damage of the goods during this event, there will be no refund plus the customer will be charged extra for the cost of return.

  1. Cancellations

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

  1. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage, if applicable, up to the value as stated by Canada Post only, this is not valid if any other courier company has been chosen by the customer.

  • Process for parcel damaged in-transit

Damage to a parcel once in the hand of the carrier is not in the control of IndiaNidhi and hence IndiaNidhi is not liable for it. The exceptional case to this is only the carriers that provide insurance and in that case, will process a refund or replacement as soon as the carrier has completed their investigation into the claim. As part of this process photo documentation is required showing damage to the product and the packaging. The customer must keep all packing materials and products until the claim is settled.

  • Process for parcel lost in transit

Loss of a parcel once in the hand of a carrier is not in the control of IndiaNidhi and hence IndiaNidhi is not liable for it. The exceptional case to this is only the carriers that provide insurance and in that case, we will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

We are a small company, but we believe in sustainable practices which reflects not only in our products but also in our packaging. We use recycled saree and paper bags, recycled poly mailers or boxes for our packaging and shipping
