Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

A ticket will be generated upon your first contact with IndiaNidhi. We will be requesting more details like pictures/ videos of the product to validate the details of the products and product condition. This process is for verifying the condition of the product and understanding the reason for the return. The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn(except done to see the size fit) or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Once validated, an authorization email to send the product back to us in the same condition as received by the customer will be generated.
Conditions of return
- The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Having said that, we want to let you know that our percentage of returns from customers is less than 0.5% so we do not include liability charges in the product prices. Our aim is to give you the best value for your money and hence we have a very robust Quality check system. At this stage of the business, we can just afford to give free returns but not free return with free shipping.
- Buyer is responsible for loss in value (as agreed upon with seller) if an item isn’t returned in original condition
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Once returns are received and accepted, you will be notified and refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase or a direct refund. We will notify you once this has been completed through email.
IndiaNidhi will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.
Please note:
- This policy does not apply to Items on Sale or discounts.
- All items are thoroughly checked for their quality, to ensure all the products defect-free.
- Due to the handmade nature of the products, there may be some variation in color and texture which should not be considered as 'damage ' but it's a unique inherited characteristic of the product and can be considered as signature style of the artisan. Any variation of this kind will not be accepted as a defect.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
